Look for a sticker that shows a 3-digit numerical code. In some cases, it will be followed by a hyphen and another 2-digit sequence.

Is primer required?
However, if you’re dealing with deeper scratches that have penetrated all paint layers, right down to the metal, it’s a good idea to use primer first. Doing so will create a good base for your colour matched paint to adhere to.
