DIY guide for using Acura touch-up paint

Next, try a test patch to verify the colour match. You can use scrap material or spray on an invisible part of the bodywork.

Finally, apply a smooth, even coat of paint and let it dry. Apply additional coats of paint until you\’re happy with the coverage. You may also wish to add a clear coat for extra protection.

Start by cleaning the damaged area to remove wax and debris, then follow these three straightforward steps:
For deep scratches and chips, you may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.
- Use the included brush to apply your custom mixed Acura car paint and leave it to dry for up to five minutes.
- Apply the blending solution using your paint removal cloth, then wait for a few minutes for this to dry.
- Buff the treated area to restore its shine by applying the polish with your microfibre cloth. (Omit this step if using matte paint).
