DIY guide to using Daihatsu touch-up paint
When your chosen paint product arrives, you\’ll be ready to carry out a flawless repair on your Daihatsu. There are a few simple steps to follow.

First, thoroughly clean the damaged area. Removing any dust, dirt, or grease will make sure the paint adheres well. For deeper scratches, apply a primer for the best results.

Apply your paint to the damaged area smoothly and evenly, making sure it dries fully between each coat. You can then apply a layer of clear coat to provide additional protection.

Start by cleaning the damaged area to remove wax and debris, then follow these three straightforward steps:
For deep scratches and chips, you may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.
- Use the included brush to apply your custom mixed Daihatsu car paint and leave it to dry for up to five minutes.
- Apply the blending solution using your paint removal cloth, then wait for a few minutes for this to dry.
- Buff the treated area to restore its shine by applying the polish with your microfibre cloth. (Omit this step if using matte paint).
