DIY guide for using Buick repair paint
Once you\’ve found your Buick paint code and ordered your custom-mixed paint, the rest is easy. The repair method is the same, whichever application method you use:

The first step is to clean and degrease your car so the paint has the best chance of adhesion.

Next, shake your paint pen, bottle, aerosol or paint can well to ensure the colour ismixed.

Then, verify the colour match by applying the paint to a piece of scrap or an invisible part of the bodywork, like the wheel arch.

Add your paint to the damaged area, leaving it to dry fully between coats. You may also wish to add a final layer of clear coat to provide extra protection.

Start by cleaning the damaged area to remove wax and debris, then follow these three straightforward steps:
For deep scratches and chips, you may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.
- Use the included brush to apply your custom mixed Buick car paint and leave it to dry for up to five minutes.
- Apply the blending solution using your paint removal cloth, then wait for a few minutes for this to dry.
- Buff the treated area to restore its shine by applying the polish with your microfibre cloth. (Omit this step if using matte paint).
