You\’ll want to look for a two-letter code such as AR (Agate-Red) or a 6-digit code starting with MG – for example, MG4003 (Warm-White).

DIY guide for using MG paint from Auto Aerosol
Once you have the perfect colour match, you can order your ideal paint product. Then, it\’s time to refresh your car\’s bodywork in a few simple steps.

Start by cleaning the scratched or scuffed area. You may need to sand away any rust and apply primer for deeper scratches. This will help the paint adhere.

Give your paint a shake to make sure it is well-mixed.

Check you\’re happy with the colour match by applying your paint to a discreet part of your MG\’s bodywork.

Apply your paint to the damaged area, making sure it dries properly between coats. You may need several coats to get full coverage, depending on the level of damage.

Start by cleaning the damaged area to remove wax and debris, then follow these three straightforward steps:
For deep scratches and chips, you may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.
- Use the included brush to apply your custom mixed MG car paint and leave it to dry for up to five minutes.
- Apply the blending solution using your paint removal cloth, then wait for a few minutes for this to dry.
- Buff the treated area to restore its shine by applying the polish with your microfibre cloth. (Omit this step if using matte paint).
