DIY guide to making a Smart paint repair
Once you order your Smart repair paint, you\’ll be a few steps away from making road rash and other damage disappear.

First, clean your car and degrease the damaged area. This is essential to help the paint adhere better. For scratches that go through to the base coat, use a primer.

Mix the paint thoroughly by shaking your Smart marker pen, bottle or can. The colour should be evenly mixed for best results.

Next, verify the colour match. We recommend spraying an invisible area of your vehicle.

Finally, apply a smooth coat to the damaged area and let it dry for at least 25 minutes. For long-lasting repairs, you may need additional coats. You can also apply a layer of clear coat for extra protection

Start by cleaning the damaged area to remove wax and debris, then follow these three straightforward steps:
For deep scratches and chips, you may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.
- Use the included brush to apply your custom mixed Smart car paint and leave it to dry for up to five minutes.
- Apply the blending solution using your paint removal cloth, then wait for a few minutes for this to dry.
- Buff the treated area to restore its shine by applying the polish with your microfibre cloth. (Omit this step if using matte paint).
