Where can I find my Seat paint codes?

Fortunately, it couldn’t be easier as each Seat model has the paint sticker in the same place, inside the boot. Once you find it, the paint code is about halfway down, and follows the words PIANT NO./INTERIOR. Make a note of the 3- or 4-digit code (comprised of numbers, letters, or a mix of both), then order your Seat touch-up paint from us.
Alternatively, find your Seat paint code by reg using our handy search tool.
Is Chipex Seat touch up paint reliable?

Will I need a primer and clear coat for my Seat touch up paint?

For most minor damage, you won’t need a primer either. However, if a scratch or chip penetrates to the metal substrate, we recommend using one. It forms a seal to protect against rust and corrosion, and helps your Seat touch up paint bond to the metal for the best possible results.
What if my Seat touch up paint doesn’t match?

Do you have any tips or hints for using Seat touch up paint?

Safety first: Read the detailed instructions, wear the protective gloves and work in a well-ventilated area.
Mix your colour: Always shake the paint bottle well to mix the paint thoroughly, then test on an inconspicuous area.
Start small: Start on the smallest area of damage first so you can practice using the paint and blending solution.
Layer up: Always build the colour in layers, letting the paint dry thoroughly each time.
* Be patient: If your Seat has been resprayed recently, wait at least one month for the paint to cure before using your Chipex™ repair kit.
Which Chipex repair kit is best for road rash on my Seat?

Choose Chipex™ Lite for minor damage like stone chips and light scratches — this provides enough Seat touch up paint for 12 areas of damage. Our medium Chipex™ Plus kit has enough colour matched paint and blending solution to conceal 24 imperfections. And for more extensive scrapes or scuffs, reach for a Chipex™ Pro kit. This includes all the Seat touch up paint and other accessories you need to handle significant repairs. What’s more, this kit has a longer shelf life than our Lite and Plus kits, so if you get another scrape, scratch or chip, you’re ready to deal with it.
