To guarantee a 100% colour match, we use your unique Tesla paint code. There are a couple of ways you can find this information. Start by looking for a sticker inside the driver’s side door jamb. Look in the bottom left-hand corner, and you’ll find the word PNT: followed by an alphanumeric code (usually between 4 and 7 digits).

Even if you make a mistake, it’s easy to fix. Simply wipe away any smudges and smears while the paint is still wet with the paint-removing cloth and blending solution.

For minor chips and scrapes, simply apply your Tesla touch up paint according to the directions for a seamless repair. For damage that penetrates to the metal substrate, however, we recommend using a primer.

There are a couple of reasons for this. Primer will protect the metal against rust and corrosion, while providing a smooth and even surface for your Tesla touch up paint. For extensive repairs, primer helps the paint adhere to the metal, resulting in a durable, professional-looking finish.
